I'm using version 6.0.2 and this version so far is really stable for me. The number one thing that I get comments about from other users is that in the Tool Manager, the rows in the ID column do not match up with the rows in the Description column. This is a real pain if the tool list is long. Can this be fixed so the rows line up?
The only other thing that drove us nuts for a while was the change in the Tool Manager Gage Point column that now in version 6 picks x-y and z positions. In version 5.4, it only picked the z height. It took us a while to figure out why all our tool paths were off location. You can no longer just pick the top edge of the tool or toolholder to set the Gage Point for machine simulation. We found that the easiest way to get only the z height was to tip the tool and pick the top center of the tool.

Hi,
The problem with the row display have been addressed and will be fixed in a future release. There are no work around for now.
To pick only the Z value for the Gage point, use the middle button of the mouse to select the point. It will record only the Z value.

Thanks for the update Serge.
It appears that the middle mouse click only works if the Dynamic Control setting are set to Vericut. Since I have mine set to Wildfire, it doesn't work. I guess tipping the tool will have to do.
Thanks,
