IBM AIX Server_client_issues
Hi,
One of my client has IBM AIX machine with vericut 544 installed on server and client. After vericut 60 was received he wanted vericut 60 on one of his machine.
I have installed Vericut 60 on the server and one client. I stopped the sentinel server for vericut 544 and started the sentinel server for Vericut 60.
On the client Vericut 60 starts when started with .\vericut. The customer also has got Catia Interface. When I use .\catv and try starting vericut it done not come up. Says valid license missing or invalid license file. But when u start vericut with out using CATV it starts up. Both 544 and 60 starts without interface. But with interface it does not startup.
I also uninstalled vericut 544 from sever and tried... but no improvement.
Customer requires 544 until hes comfortable with 6.0.
do i need to change any setting so that when i run the CATV file it starts 6.0 vericut.

Because they are running the 5.4.4 CATV with a 6.0 license, they need to change one line in the CATV script.
In the cgtech544\sgi\commands, they need to modify the following line:
CGTECH_LICENSE_VERSION=5.4; export CGTECH_LICENSE_VERSION
for
CGTECH_LICENSE_VERSION=6.0; export CGTECH_LICENSE_VERSION
