Importing IGS file

Hi Vericutters.

Why does my the imported igs stock file won't work. it's omporting fine but when the first tool is activated the igs file is vanished and left with small peice of the stock.

also can u suggest how to get rid of the blue line around the stock and cut stock . it's sometime blocking the view.

surface normals are inconsistant with Iges.
some normals are inward, some are outward.

1. Try polyfix :?

2. use a Stl file instead. :wink:

3. use  some 3rd party software to make surface normals consistant. :?

(Sorry, I allways use STL files, so I never used optiions 1 & 3, but I know others do)
