changing machining axis

I running a machine sim session, and between stages I use a little program using the cgtech_macro to change the visibility and location of the cut-stock....Since I'm not using the same base work offset for each stages , is there a cgtech_macro to modify the (Csys) for the next toolpath ?

Re: changing machining axis

hey erik,
Why don't you try to create new work coord offset for every tool path? And then call them from your little program; g54, g55, etc.....

Re: changing machining axis

Good work around !
You will just need to uncheck the box 'Initialize Machine/Control between Toolpaths' under Setup > G-Code > Settings.... If not the Work Offset will be ignored at the beginning of the 2nd NC program.
Note : The variables and other parameters will not be initialised too...

But with V60 this is now obsolete ! You can define different Fixtures, different 'Base Work Offset' for each setup w/o creating an extra program to manage the visibility of component...
