NX 4 tool lenght offset (OS) and Vericut

NX 4 has a new feature in the tool holder parameters dialog.  It's called (OS) offset.  It controls the length of the cutting tool which is actually inside the tool holder.  This is a good feature because we don't have to make as many tools for our library now, because we can control the length this way.

Can Vericut's program optimizer recognize this feature when choosing which optimization settings to use for each tool?  Currently, with NX 3, we have many tools of the same dia. but different lengths in our tool library.  This is so Vericut's optimization settings will match up correctly without the user needing to select it. :?
