Tool Manager Utility

I would very much like to be able to merge tls files easily. Open one as the master and merge in another. The utility would prompt if a duplicate ID was in the merge file with the option of over writing the master or discard the duplicate. :?

Re: Tool Manager Utility

I'd like to give the task of populating new tool libraries to other non-programmers without holding the main license hostage.

Re: Tool Manager Utility

You can!  Just copy the VericutX.X.X shortcut and replace vericut.bat with toolman.bat.  Rename it to ToolManX.X.X and away you go.

You and anyone else at your facility can run as many of these as you want without taking up a Vericut license.  We've been doing this for years.

Enjoy!

Re: Tool Manager Utility

The Tool manager when ran stand-alone will not check-out a VERICUT license but will nonetheless check if a license server is running. As long as the users on the network can see the server they all can use it.

Re: Tool Manager Utility

By the way, The ability to merge in different tool libraries was implemented and will be available in VERICUT 6.1.

Shoot! I've been using Vericut off and on since v2.0 and didn't know that! Thanks for the info!
