Hellow
We are in a process of migation our licences vericut 4.4 to vericut 5.3.
then we have training licenses for vericut 5.3.
When we simulate a program in wich there are operations with an axis of the tools is fixed we get the following resut:
- Vericut 4.4 program can be simulate without problems.
- Vericut 5.3 the program stops and error notice'Avanced Machined Feature not available' appear.
My Question is:
Is necessary buy this aditional module to get the same funcionalities we have with vericut 4.4?
If not neccesary, could anybody tell me how can i solve this problems.
Thanks in advance.

My understanding of how it works is that The entire Vericut package is in the software when you install it from C.D./Download. Its information in the license file that turns on the modules. I don't work for Vericut so I'm not an authority here but if you had purchased the advanced machine module switching from 4.4 to version 5.? wouldn't be the problem. The problem is your license file for the new version doesn't turn on the advanced machine module and therefore you should contact CGtech for a correct license file.

I do not know what triggers the Advance Machine Feature in you setups. Some macros in the control generally tell VERICUT to request the AMF license to the server.
These macros were developped in version 5.0 and up. So if these files were working in 4.4 they should work in 5.4. Now, you might use a control from the library that uses one of these macros. To check which macro requires AMF in your program:
Info > G-Code Report
-- Scroll down to the section ADVANCE MACHINE FEATURES
Otherwise, I would recommend that you contact your local CGTech office. They will be able to help.
