sorting multiple contiguous gouges with a expandable tree

I would like to see some kind of sorting of multiple contiguous gouges in the logger and log file.

Perhaps,  with a expandable tree like +

You may only have 5 things to fix, that generate hundreds of errors.

So you expand or minimise the tree

It is possible that non cutting line numbers will not register, so that has to be factored in. IE if 5 and 6 are non cutting, than the following is really one group   2,3,4  ,7,8,9,10

This is probably a lot of work, since these are text window, but who knows?

Dave, thanks for your suggestions. Your request has been entered in our Software Change Request system as a potential enhancement for a future VERICUT release => SCR #3021 -- Report multiple contiguous gouges in Log file as one error

You suggestion about the expandable tree was also included in the notes. As you know, this is currently not possible since the VERICUT Log file is just a plain text file. But who knows, maybe your request will warrant upgrading this file to HTML or some other format compatible with your request.

I like it Dave but could we have it tree view for each tool? Have a truncated display for each set of errors belonging to each tool. Plus when you select the gouge error, have VC zoom/pan to the respective area. it's cumbersome to keep opening & closing the report to move around the model.
