Vericut User Prefs

Hello everybody:

Can somebody tell me where Vericut (6.1.1) user Preferences is saved ???? Can't recall :?

In %USERPROFILE%, it is a unicode text file.
You can type %USERPROFILE% in the address field of explorer to open it.

Hello

I did a Laptop OS upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 and, for some reason, the Vericut Preferences files is not being stored on C:\Users\loginname\"cgtech*.prefs", as Windows 7 default user location. On Windows XP, it used to be located at C:\Documments and Settings\loginname\"cgtech*.prefs").

Now, as result, no preferences is saved everytime.

Could you please help me?

I still find the files in that location "C:\Users\{usern name}\cgtech_72_user.prefs"

Hello Stefan

I did a Vericut 7.3.1 installation as same time of Win 7.

I will investigate with previous versions of Vericut or reinstalling the software.

May be CGTech has now correctly moved them to %APPDATA%\CGTech or %APPDATA%\Vericut
