we would like to set up a nice tool library. what is the best way to go about it. should we have multiple libraries for each different tool type or does the tool manager allow different sections within the library to have different tools? we are new to vericut and the help pdf. files are not very good on this subject so all suggestions would be appreciated.

HOPE THIS SOUNDS OK TO YOU...I HAVE TWO MAIN LIBRARRIES...
1) SPECIAL TOOLS : THIS LIBRARY INCLUDES ALL THE FORM TOOLS AND SPECIAL TOOLS
2) CORNER RADIUS TOOLS : HAVE CREATED TOOLS USING DXF AND ADDED TO THIS LIBRARY
PRETTY MUCH, ALL OTHER TOOLS CAN BE DONE DIRECTLY IN THE TOOL MANAGER.

Here's another idea. I have a .tls file for each of the machines that I program. The tools are not re-engineered very often, and the tool carousel can hold them all at once. So I save the .tls file with the .ctl and .mch file for that particular machine.
