Bug Report

I believe I have found a minor bug within v6.x.x

Launch Vericut, then

File.....Open.

Pick the 'Samples' from the drop down menu and then pick the first file on the list (2xturn1.VcProject).

Reset the simulation then press Play.

Now at any point whilst Vericut is cutting, press the 'Clear Log File & Logger'.

On all the machines I've tried this on, Vericut crashes to desktop.

I would be interested if anyone else can repeat this. (I think you can use any file to re-create this)

Re: Bug Report

I was able to reproduce it. It hangs VERICUT only if you press "Clear Log file & Logger" while VERICUT is simulating. If you Stop and clear it, it works as designed.

But it is easy to see why it crashes, while simulating, VERICUT opens the log file to write the simulation data. At the same time, you ask VERICUT to acces it again and erase it while it's writing.

It is now fixed in VERICUT 6.1. If you try to clear the logger and log file, VERICUT returns you a message that VERICUT is busy.

Thanks for reporting it.
