Anyone interested in benchmarks on X64 with dual quadzillas

two quad core processors, So, I have 8 processers all togeather.
8 gig of RAM
and two Nvida Quadro FX4500 Viedeo cards 512 each
XP pRO x64.

I 1st loaded 5.4.5 (32bit)

at 1200 x  1600 the impller ran in 45 seconder after enlarging the screen, and doing a fit all.

I remember that taking 22 minuites without a fit screen

I saw 1 processor at 100% and 4 others at around 20% 8)

Than thinking it was to fast to compare machines, I slowed it down , by setting the cutting tolerence to .015  and stock size.  that slowed it to 2m 17 sec

next week I will try some files on Vericut 6.0 and perhaps 6.1 64 version of Vericut.

I will run some of the files in the samples dir.

If anyone is interested in specific benchmarks, let me know.

Re: Anyone interested in benchmarks on X64 with dual quadzillas

OK,  I just installed Vericut 6.1   64bit  version

same impeller demo
view fit
1200 x 1600
cutting tolerence to .015 and stock size.

new box, old vericut 5.4.5 was ..... 2m 17 sec
same box, now V6.1 64bit          ....  1 min 15 seconds.  tongue

I noticed 2 processors in the 75% range instead of one
