CGTech is currently seeking two (2) Technical Support Engineers.
Position: Technical Support Engineer
Hours: Full-time
Location: USA – Northeast preferred but not required
JOB DESCRIPTION
Technical Support Engineer provides support and knowledge to internal departments and end-user customers on VERICUT products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide technical support to end-user customers, sales engineers, and marketing partners
-Instruct VERICUT training classes
-Travel to and conduct on-site training and consulting at customer sites in North America
-Assist end-users in maximizing benefits and implementation of VERICUT software
-Log and track software change requests
QUALIFICATIONS
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-Motivated self-starter
-Team-player
-Enjoys traveling
-Practical working experience in NC programming
-CAD/CAM experience and knowledge
-Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:
-Recent experience with VERICUT
-Practical working CAD/CAM experience with emphasis on CAM expertise in CATIA, Unigraphics, and/or Pro/Engineer
-Knowledge of and experience with UNIX
-BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
