Hi all,
I am new to this. Currently we are runnig Catia V5 R16 and Vericut 6.0.2 Trying to implement the Catia/Vericut Interface. Problem:Catia solids are built with Axis1 for location but have part axis for machining the interface is defaulting to axis1 no matter what we do. Tried selecting axis for stock and attach before generation and still does not recognize? Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Tirelady,
In the VERICUT session, there is an Attach component to which your setup is attached.
In CATIA, create an axis that represents where the Attach component should be relative to your Stock.
Then select this axis for the Attach axis system. If this axis is not selected, it defaults to AXS1
If you have more than one setup, you also need to select a Stock Axis Component which is a reference axis that is always to the same position relative to your part.
I hope it helps
Serge

While in Catia tried selecting (pivot)axis for stock and attach before generation and still does not recognize? Have tried various combinations of axis selections and no matter what still get axis1.
