:? Wondering why when I add components (e.g. Fixture to Turret B) to Collison Detect in Machine Settings, that when I save the Machine this new collison setting is not saved. If I modify the Axis Priority, which is also under Machine Settings, they do get saved when I save the Machine. Only when I save the Project do the additional components to Collison Detect in the Machine Settings get saved. What happens then is any existing Project won't get updated to the new desired Machine Settings when re-run for collison detection. Being the collison detect is under the machine settings, I feel it should get saved with the machine not the project. Am I right or is there something I'm missing?

Collision detection settings are now saved in two places. .mch and the vcproject. Anything associated with the Attach point is saved in the vcproject file.

Here is the rule:
If one of the components is below the Attach component, the collision gets saved in the Project.
If both components are above the Attach component, then it is saved with the machine.
In your case, you could set the collision between Turret B and Spindle, and check "Sub-Component" for the spindle. This will check the collisions between the Turret and any components attached to the spindle (Fixture, Stock). And because you do not reference the fixture directly, it will be saved in the machine.
