very new user

I am evaluating vericut 6.0 for possible purchase so I have just a few hours experience.  I use unigraphics nx2 and we have the interface to vericut.  My problem is getting the stock and design models to line up with the csys.  Everything else tranfers fine, the programs and csys appear to be in the correct orientation but the stock and design models appear to be oriented to the absolute csys no matter what I choose.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Scott

Re: very new user

Open project tree
RT CLICK on setup
Select APT settings
Check the box that says Process Unigraphics or catia Matrix

If you want to do it with a machine sim, thats another story.

PSyou can hit the F1 key and help will launch in whatever window you heppen to have open.

There are training files in help also.

as far as evaluating, Vericut is the best out there.
I have been using since 1990
I have all the goodies, machine sim, & optipath included.
its all good.

Re: very new user

Thanks for the reply Dave.

I figured out the problem.  In the UG interface you must select "output files" before "run vericut" or it will use old files with old settings.  Once I did this correctly all was well.

Thanks again
