error when trying to generate vericut log file

Hi
After i finished through the simulation and wanted to get a o/p of the Vericut log file. Vericut threw a error message which read as "request file is too big to view or edit". The machine had abt 14GB of free space.

Cleared the logger file. But no chnage in results. Changed the Cutting tolerrence to coarse value. Still no help.

Plz let me know what could be the possible problem..

Thanks and Regards

Re: error when trying to generate vericut log file

I'm not sure what you mean with "clear the log file", but it seems like you mean the "Info/Clear Logger" button?? The command "Info/Clear Logger" only clean up the messages in the window down left. To edit the log file you can open it for editing in e.g. notepad. If you haven't done this for a long time and also haven't separate log files to respectively usr-file, then your "default" log file should be huge by now...

I don't know the limit in the file size to manage open the log file via "Info/Vericut Log", but I've come across this a few times.

The cutting tolerance has nothing to do with this problem.
