There appears to be some confusion within the software with units.
Our cutting tools and N/C data are always output in metric; models, however, may be metric or imperial.
I have brought models (imperial) from Catia and used programs (metric) with no problems. The confusion starts if there is a second set-up requiring another co-ordinate system. In this case machining the opposite side on a new fixture.
If the second co-ordinate system is defined, relative to the first, in imperial units, it's location looks correct but running the simulation shows it to be wrong.
If, however, the second co-ordinate system is defined, relative to the first, in metric units, it's location looks wrong (25.4x further away than it should be) but the simulation runs OK.
Is this perhaps something I'm doing wrong or is it a bug?

Hi Bob,
If the simulation runs fine, it just might be a display problem. I would recommend that you send your files to Tech Support.
