Any user can remove licenses from a running license server
It is possible for any user to remove licenses from any running Sentinel LM license server using either the WlmAdmin or lslic utility programs.
According to SafeNet (the current owners of Sentinel LM) there are several enhancement requests to use access restrictions to prevent non-administrative users from removing licenses from the server. CGTech has been added to the list of requestors.
The license removal is transient. The license is not removed from the license file, only from the running server. Licenses can be restored on the running server by adding them from the license file using Wlmadmin or lslic (you must have access to the license file), or by restarting the license server.
