license server for 5.1

Hi,

Our licenser server machine has blow, now we have to use another new one.
I guess if  can use Windows XP Professional for the license server or need be a windows NT4?  :?

I can use a machine with another license server running for another software (use flexlm too like Autodesk, Delcam ,...)?
