Vericut/Snagit Screen Capturing Video

Since animation video .AVI files have been retired, what is the recommended software for capture screen video in Vericut 9?  I currently have Snagit 19.1.4 but it crashes Vericut 9 times out of 10.  I have plenty of RAM 32GB and video card is ok.  Is there any settings I can change that would fix this?  Any help would be great.  Thanks

My System:
HP ZBook 17 G2
CPU i7-4800MQ 2.8 GHZ
RAM 32 GB DDR3
SSD 256 GB
VGA NVIDIA QUADRO K3100M 4 GB DEDICATED(16 GB SHARED)

Re: Vericut/Snagit Screen Capturing Video

We use Snagit a lot internally for recording videos, we haven't seen any specific problems.

Which version of Vericut are you trying to record?

If lower than V9.0 try turning off OpenGL

Re: Vericut/Snagit Screen Capturing Video

We are using V9.0 and still have issues with crashing.  Sometimes it works if you click on a different window other than Vericut but then define capture area where Vericut will be visible.  However, if Vericut is active 99% with a Snagit VIDEO record it will crash.  Not for screenshots its ok for the most part but it still crashes with screenshots as well. I've worked with Vericut on multiple computers so its not limited to specific hardware.
