Cut and paste words, address and macros between two machines

I would like to be able to Cut and paste words, address and macros from one machine to another.

This would require some licensing change to load two machines, one machine passive to ?cut? from, and one machine active, as the recipient of the paste.

You can open control files in an editor of course, but the Vericut tree format is more user friendly.

What do you think?

Yes Dave, I agree. While we commonly open machine and control files in text editors to lift sections of logic from one control or machine and drop into another, having this capability in the GUI would make this an easier and less error-prone task. Thus, entered the following ER on your behalf:

Add ability to cut & paste between Word/Address and Component Trees from different VC sessions

Thank you sir

Did in mention machine components as well?

I placed a file on your ftp
called omni-ball-test.zip  which has full machine & trimmings

there is a main component called HEAD_CHANGER_TABLE
it has all the 90-heads on it.

I am planning on sticking that puppy on every machine I build,
since we use 90-deg head on just about every machine in shop.
and we have around 60.

I have been doing the cut & paste deal in an editer, but .....
