.avi files

:?
Hi All

does anybody have any idea why Vericut in my case crashes when recording .avi files, my setting for image record is set as followed [Recording Screen Area] = Start Left = 0, Start Top = 0, Width = 1152, Height = 701, AVI frame Rates = 5 frames per Second? can anybody help me with my problem.

Thanks All

Re: .avi files

They crash on my files intermittently also. Some times it works

A lot of times, when using .img rather than Vericut will blow up right away.

I tried to blow it up using Vericut sample usr files, and its ok

  yikes

But on my larger files with machines sim and all, and / or, multiple window seem to be worse. Some times the img files can get up to a gig in size.

:?

Could be the Video card specific issue, but I have a pretty good Dell, with a Radeon Video card

Image files are one of my favorite features, and it makes me bummed that it does not work.

:x

This is the 1st thing I am going to check on the V6.0 Beta.

Re: .avi files

If your files are not that big, you may want to send them in to CGTech.

or at least give support a jingle. let them decide.

I think 5.4 is done. that's why I have been waiting for 6

go foward not backwards.

I think it is easier for them to find problems if they repeat, and are easy to recreate.

the file I have that blows up has 60 meg stl files, and 20 meg vct files.

If it still crashes in 6.0, I'll slerp it all up & send it in.
