Tool Change time

How do I incorporate the tool change time into my cycle time?  The machine has a magazine and it takes about 45 seconds to put the tool back and fetch the new one to the ready position.  "Instantaneous" tool changes are not realistic.

Re: Tool Change time

The easiest way is to add a dwell time to your toolchange in VERICUT.

In the control:

a more involved method is to add a toolchain component to the machine, you can refer to vericut.usr for an example.
