Pivot distance is included in the code, but not gage distanc

This is regarding T35 with Acromatic 950 control. We are including the pivot distance 12.5" in the post (Code contains this offset, but not the gage distance). The control automatically ffsets for the gage distance. I need RTCP only for the gage distance.I tried various things like

1. Changing the RTCP uses under rotary to all 4 possibilities.
2. Playing with control point in tools.

Can somebody tell me how to acheive this as it happens on the machine.

Thanks & Regards

Re: Pivot distance is included in the code, but not gage distanc

I have used RTCP and then for each of the tools I have moved the control point up by 12.5. It seems to be working.

Is this the way to acheive?

Re: Pivot distance is included in the code, but not gage distanc

I think you are on the right track.

A quick check our head tilting Cincinatti .mch file shows we have the RTCP pivot offset set to 0, 0, 0.  but we adjusted the Z axis ORIGIN up by the pivot distance in Z.  The A axis is then slaved to the Z with B slaved to A.  Then spindle, slaved to B, has its ORIGIN point adjusted down in Z in the machine definition file.  This seems to work in our setup.
