I have run into a couple situations when the shank of a tool rubs the side wall of a pocket and I get no alarm and when a tool moves in rapid when material is still there.
Is there a setting set to high for my alarms to get posted?

What I do is rotate the part around and site down where the the tool supposedly hits. Then, I single block up to that point. Next, I hit the + key to go through all of the interpolations of that move. 100% of the time the shank never hits nor does it at the machine. Lets call it a false shank mistake.

Errors show up red
The setting to determine if it will stop on error is File + Properties + minimum error Volume.
The number needs to be real small, like .00005
Volume is length X width X height so .01 X .01 X .01 = .000001

Dave, I can still get a shank error with a .000001 minimum Volume error on certain parts.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the welcome.
The way it works is
If you see red but Vericut does not stop ...make the number smaller
If Vericut stop on small errors you don't care about, make the number bigger.
Hope the helps
