I am familiar with vericut as far as using it from a seed file that I have always had, but I need a machine sim built. I would like to know what it would cost, or if someone already has one that they would part with. I need a Haas VF7 with a Haas TR310 trunnion on the table and a VF7 with a Haas TR210 trunnion on the table. I would also do it myself if any one had a book or instructions on how to build a machine and a control file. Thanks in advance.

Start by looking at the samples that came with your license of Vericut, they have many machines that may work as a starting point. The machine build isn't hard to do yourself it's the control file that takes some work. Good luck.

is there a book or something about how to create a control file?

Yes there is. You get one when you pay for the training class. I've been a few times and the class is good. But you need to start with a control file from "Vericuts" samples then tweak it for your needs and your sales person can assist you along with Tech support.

What if I only want to buy the book?

I have an uncle that lives in North Monmouth, Maine. Its between Lewiston and Augusta. Beautiful there wish I could make it up there more often. Great seafood, it dosent get any better. How much would you want for those books? (or one of them if they are the same) If you wanted we could do and ebay/paypal thing.

The training "books" are in VERICUT help. See "VERICUT Training Sessions" > "Machine and Control Building". After doing these sessions you have a good starting point to build the machine kinematic and do some control changes
