setting up berthiez turn center

Has anyone had much success in building and setting up  berthiez turning centers? :?

Never heard of those, but look through the sample files, and pick the closest one, then "save as" or copy and start changing.

The Berthiez I have seen were Vertical 2 axis Lathes with NUM controls.

In the Library folder, there are some files you can use to start a job like that. The machine does not have any models, only the kinematics. It does not matter if it is a horizontal or vertical machine since both will cut in the XZ plane. The control is a NUM.

File > Open; Shortcut= CGTECH_LIBRARY
file = num2x.usr    (num2xm.usr for metric)
