Edgecam "CSYS" references in Vericut.

Hello All,

Hope the subject makes some sense. I am a new user to Vericut but come from the Tech support "field" of Edgecam manufacturing software. The Company I work for uses the Edgecam to Vericut interface ver. 7.3.3. What I am wondering is what construction plane data is being transferred into Vericut in the form of coordinate systems? In the current project I am working on, I have ***Stock*** and PART CPL coordinate systems, which I am sure came from Edgecam.

This being my first project, but with feedback from my colleagues, the need to create a CSYS or two is common place as is the repositioning of some components within Vericut. Any documentation or comments regarding this information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Vic

Take a look under Help > On Vericut, this contains all the documentation for Vericut.

If you are still not clear, give your local CGTech Tech Support guy a call and they will help you out.
