Does anyone have tangible benefits of using STEP Translator ? for cutting tool 3D model import in Tool manager ? Time saved, cost saved ?
In $, £ or in Euros ?

You probably wont find a good answer to your question, but some benefits are :-
easily import tools
more accurate tool models
more accurate simulations
It's also worth noting that many tooling companies have there own software to build and export a complete tool assembly. Kennametal Novo and Sandvik Adveon to name a couple. You can also import these directly in to Vericut ( if you have the STEP translator of course ).

I'll second Tony.
Once you use it you will never look back. It's just a great add-on.
Not very tangible but I can tell you it drops our tooling creation time in about 60%.
