Hi,
Pretty new to Vericut and am trying to do some testing with a lathe with live tooling (C-axis). Where do I develop my live tooling heads (drawings for these) and the VDI holders that hold the turning tools? How do I position these onto the turret?
Will the tools that are brought into Vericut from Mastercam be in the correct position or do I have to finalize their positions in Vericut?
Thanks in advance!

Hockey Guy,
I found that the training sessions help out allot. You may want to look at some of the other lathes with live tooling machines to give you an idea.

In my experience, No. I always find that my lathe insert is backwards. If that makes any sense. In our shop the setup guys always want the inserts facing towards the operator. So that's how we program MasterCam. When transferred into Vericut, usually flips the insert. I have no idea why. But if you program the insert facing away, then it transfers correct. Except on our very first tool it also adds a gage point somewhere other than the tip of the insert which needs to be corrected.
Your experience may differ. Let me know if it does.
