Whenever I run multiple operations with multiple programs, fixtures, tool lists etc , I label EVERYTHING and just blank and unblank as I go. I also save everything related to that particular job in it's own part folder, then It's not so bad to jump from component to component.
Hope this helps.

In the same User file or VERICUT session, you cannot change the machining type fron G-Code to APT.
But there is a workaround. Create a User file for each operations. Then:
1- cut the first operation and do not Reset
2- Open the second User file, VERICUT will prompt you to Reset or Merge, select "Merge"
3- The cut part from the first operation is now in the second User file. You might have to re-orient the cut stock.
4- Press Rewind (not Reset)
5-Cut
6- repeat step 2-5 for subsequent operations
Note: you can save an In-Process file after the step 4, allowing to come back to this step in your machining.
