We recently upgraded to Vericut version 5.4.1, but our files continue to open in version 5.3.1. I have associated the files with the new version and they still open in the old version. The only way I can get the files to open in 5.4.1 is to tweak the registry. I have a fair number of users who need this fix and I don't want to have to go to each pc to tweak the registry...anyone else have this problem and know the fix??
Thanks!

I assume you are double-clicking .usr file in Windows explorer, and it is opening in Vericut 5.3.1? Try this: In Windows explorer, go to >Tools >Folder options >File types, find .usr, click on it, click Change, and browse to your newer version, click OK.
Sorry if this isn't any better than tweaking the registry.

This will open the file in the newer version this time only. In other words, the files continue to open in the old version even after associating them with the new version. Tweaking the registry seems to be the only way.
Thanks
