Limited testing has been done and VERICUT seems to function just fine on Windows 7. It looks and acts just the same as Vista. Some of our field offices are using Windows 7 now. We need to do more rigorous tests before we can confidently add it to our growing list of officially supported Windows (2000, XP, XP64, Vista, Vista64). This includes:
o Run our full test suite (about 1000 regression tests).
o Verify all our CAD/CAM interfaces work (about 10 or so).
o Run a set of interactive tests to make sure the GUI functions properly.
o Test the installer and licensing under various configurations.
o Do the above for both 32 and 64 bit versions.
o Add any differences to VERICUT's documentation.
We don't have an ETA on this, but it is on the order of a couple of months, not a couple of days or weeks. In the meantime you're welcome to give VERICUT a spin on Windows 7. It seems to install and run ok, haven't seen any surprises yet.
