Help with machine Building

Hello I am building a 5 Axis Haas Machine in Vericut.I modelled all seperate parts in Catia using same axis for all parts and saved as STLs .Assembled machine in Vericut through machine component tree and all parts snapped into postion, all seemed fine using MDI X,Y and Z axis simulated fine but my problem is that A and B axis rotate around axis they were modelled on not on the centres they were supposed to.Can anybody please tell me how I need to set up A Or B Rotary components using STLs. Thank you in advance fredb

Re: Help with machine Building

To help you figure out were rotary axis rotate around make "component axis" visible.
This helps alot.
You have to play with Component position to manipulate the rotation point. adjust Model position to get the model in its correct place.
If your model is in the correct spot now but rotation point not you most likely have to shift the component (lets say X0 Y0 Z-300) and then position the model to (X0 Y0 Z+300)

Good luck,
