If you ever wondered how to find the Csink diameter, (radius x2) here it is for simple Csink holes.(6.22)
Vericut can measure a Csink top Radius, the key is what you select. :wink:
Bring up the Xcaliper; Hole Depth window.
The first pick, Hole Top, uses the top surface the Csink/hole is in. Plane should be returned as the picked feature.
The Second pick, Hole Bottom, uses the Wall of the Hole below the Csink. Cylinder should be returned as the picked feature.
The last or 3rd pick, Feature, is the Csink. Cone should be the picked feature.
Measured Data result
Top Radius is the primary measurement you look for in Csinks. Remember it is a radius not the diameter.
Bottom Radius is the hole size.
Depth is the depth of the Csink only. This is not hole depth.
Location is the center of the Csink from the active Coordinate System in Vericut, be careful.
Any other pick order/method will get vastly different results.
1/2 the included angle is found by picking Xcaliper, Feature History and picking the Csink cone.
