MasterCam Interface

Hi

We are using the MasterCam interface with great success. The only question i have is how do i avoid firing up a new .usr file that i have to reassign a machine and control to everytime. I want certain machines to be my default everytime.

Hi Glenn,
The dialogue for our Mastercam interface has a field called "User or IP File". You can create a user file "template" that is essentially a user file with no job-specific info (no stock/fixture/design models, no tools, no nc programs, etc.). The info from your current mastercam session is merged with the info in this user file "template", and VERICUT opens. You can create one or more of these templates for each of your machine setups.
