Calc Minimum Cutter Extension

Is anyone having problems with the Calc Minimum Cutter Extension option in V6.2?   Does anyone have an opinion concerning how it shrinks the tools and extensions to zero length before the simulation starts?

Thanks in advance for any comments on this issue.

I usually set my holders so the tip is at the tool zero point, If you do this before using the calculate minimum cutter length it seems to work well. When using the calculate minimum cutter length feature, vericut may ignore some error. It is best to re run the program after you establish your out of holder lengths.

I have not found this option in Version 8.  I see 'min. extension' on a report template - is that the only place it exists?
