Error removing all license features from the license server

Error message:

"Error removing all license features from the license server running on your computer name.
"

Cause:
This message displays on Windows computers in a command prompt when attempting to add licenses to the license server and an error occurs removing the old licenses prior to adding new licenses.

Licenses are added to the license server using the following start menu buttons under CGTech VERICUT 6.2 > License Server Only >:

. Configure License & Setup Server
. Update Licenses on Running Server

This error usually occurs because the license server is not running on this computer.

Solution:
Maybe the license server is not running because you are attempting ot add licenses on the wrong computer? If so, go to the correct license server computer.

Or you can try starting the license server. How you start the license server depends on whether you are using a Windows Service or running a temporary server.

If using a service, try starting the license server service with the VERICUT start menu button:

CGTech VERICUT 6.2 > License Server Only > Start License Server Service

A Windows Service may only be started by an Administrative user.

If using a temporary license server, try starting the temporary process with the VERICUT start menu button:

CGTech VERICUT 6.2 > License Server Only > Run Temporary License Server

Note: Starting the service removes any old service and replaces it. This will cause any currently running VERICUTs to fail.
