V6.2
In workpiece View window, Run the nc file and stop at tool change. Then hit * Fit icon * Vericut will fit the Cut stock and the Tool included holder... to full screen.
In previous Version, Vericut just Fit only Cut stock to full Screen.
Any body have same problem ?
Thanks

I actually like that functionality.
Could it be an enhancment, rather than a bug, IE motion off the screen, want to see it
Perhaps a toggle in preferences will allow users to choose

The fact the display is called Workpiece would suggest when using fit to window you would only see the workpiece. I feel the same that this is bug. If I wnat to see where the tool is in relation to the workpiece then I just us the machine view

I also agree, it is a workpiece view and that is what should be shown. When you have a machine where the home position of the tool is a considerable distance from the workpiece the workpiece ends up being to small and you have a lot of nothing between it and the tool.

Yes of course, I also have this problem. When I click on the "Fit" icon I want to see only the machined part without the rectracted tool. Who knows how to solve this problem?

In 6.2, we added the ability to measure the active tool in X-Caliper. A side effect is that it is now part of the screen elements and is therefore considered by the Fit logic.
I some time find the new logic useful if I want to know if the tool is loaded, but the tool is outside the view area.
But If you want to Fit only on the part:
First Method, hide the tool:
In the Motion Window, Tool Display = Off, Apply
Fit ---- This will fit only on the workpiece
Tool Display = Translucent (or Solid), Apply
Another method:Fit
Rotate the view so the tool is in front of the part
Fit ---- this will only fit on the limits of the part
rotate back as needed

Another useful method I use, even not having 6.2, is to save a view with the workpiece how you want it, then instead of Fit you can just use Select View.
