I've got a Mazak e-1850, using a modified "Mazatrol_Mazak_e-series" control file.
When I open the G-Code Processing window, and look under M_Misc, all my M200-Range codes are gone. This happens every time I open the project file from scratch, even though I entered the correct codes. This has me stumped.
If I enter any of the M-Codes in the '200' series range, then all of the M200 through M209 codes populate into the Control File in one action. It is the weirdest thing. I go to 'M_Misc', and open 'M198'. I change the "Range" to '200', change the Macroname to 'ActiveSpindleCompName', and set the override text to 'Part_Spindle", and press "Add".
When I do that, M200, M202-M207, all appear in the list. This is correct, and I like that just add one of the needed codes, and they all show up, but why do they disappear from my Control File when I reopen it?

What version are you using Colin? I´ve seen 7.4 doing weird things due to the new units option inside a macro definition. They fixed it already in 7.4.1 though.

Hi Daniel,
You know what is funny? As I was drifting off to sleep last night, I realized that I forgot to mention the version number in my post... :-)
I'm running 7.3.4 in production. I am waiting for our license server to get upgraded so I can run 7.4.
There is something very funky going on. It is like Vericut is "hiding" any of the Turning M-Codes, but they all just "show up" when I add the first one. It doesn't matter if I try and add "M200" to set Turning mode, or "M205" for "Turning Spindle Stop". As soon as I try and add one of the M-Codes, the others populate into the list. I save everything, (even tried saving to a new .ctl file name) and yet the M-Codes are not there when I re-open the .ctl file...
Thanks,
Colin

Colin,
It does not sound right to me...
Send the files to technical support....
PS: Sometimes you bump into a bug and you can't wait for an oficial release.... then CGTech sends you an internal build so they can patch your issue and you can move on... that explains some of us having builds that are not out there yet...
CGTech support and service is second to none. I can't complain at all about getting my issues sorted out or enhancements.

I agree with Daniel. CGTech support is second to none. They're one of the best, if not the best, software companies I have dealt with.
