The error "MasterCam .Net Support Dll nethook.dll not found" is a catch-all error output by MasterCAM when a C-Hook fails. One known problem in the current version of the VERICUT interface occurs if you do not have the LSHOST environment variable set to your license server. Post back and let me know if this fixes the problem. Also make sure that you have copied both VERICUT.dll and VericutSupport.dll to the chooks folder.

I ended up loading McX sp2 and it started working.

Hmmm, that's strange. It was developed and tested under SP1. Perhaps there was a problem with your SP1 installation that installing SP2 corrected. Anyway, good that it is working for you now.
